My Journey to God

The Prayer of the Priest

Through Him, With Him, In Him.
These words prayed
to God the Father,
spoken by the priest
as the most precious
Body and Blood
are offered back to God
during the Holy Sacrifice
of the Mass,
prayed during Masses
around the world.
Our sacrifice of self,
united as one
through the prayers
of the priest.
Our sacrifice of self
helps us to become
one with Jesus,
as we prepare to receive
God’s only Son.
