Endure

When you look in the mirror
do you like what you see?
Imagine Jesus looking back at you;
would you feel ashamed or happy?

If ashamed is your current emotion,
then change the way you live.
Jesus is patiently waiting for you;
arms opened wide, wanting to forgive.

There’s nothing you’ve said or done
He doesn’t already have knowledge of.
He wants you to freely confess,
then experience His mercy and love.

Just like any other loving Father,
He wants you to confidently communicate;
feel safe, trust, and love Him.
Don’t wait. It’s not too late.

You could be kneeling in church,
or be driving in your car.
Just honestly speak from your heart;
it doesn’t matter where you are.

Then look in the mirror again.
Put a smile on your face.
Imagine Jesus looking back at you,
and confident you’re living in Grace.
