My Journey to God

A Prayer for Spring

The world awakens each year in the spring.
The Creator of life pushes through with His green.
His command, “Let there be…” when time began
Calls all into communion with Him!

“In the beginning…” is happening here and now.
Today, where you are, His word goes out,
Turning dark into light, death into life.
And the void becomes full of His love!

Oh! How is it beauty so bright and true,
Becomes a landscape of witness for me and you!
As Christ has risen up from the dead,
God gives us heaven on earth in His stead!

“It is good!”
